The East picks were very well selected. You could lobby for Ray Allen, Hedo Turkoglu, and Richard Jefferson. The Celtics have the best record in the NBA and you could argue that their is no big difference between Paul Pierce and Allen so why should one make it while the other one not get selected.
Turkoglu has been playing well and the Magic are playing great as a team but he got overlooked big time probably because the scoring is under 20ppg, but he is having his best season.
Richard Jefferson is having a great season but his team sucks and they already have Kidd starting in the All-Star game.
In the West a ton of guys got snubbed and the people that were picked over them really do not deserve it if you ask me, Brandon Roy and David West, WTF? Baron Davis, Josh Howard, Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, Shawn Marion, Deron Williams, Tony Parker, Stephen Jackson, Tyson Chandler, and Manu Ginobili all got stiffed.
I think Brandon Roy is extremely overrated. He is getting way to much credit for their record. He isn’t even the best 2nd year player in the NBA or even the best player on his team. Rudy Gay and LaMarcus Aldridge would take those crowns.
The Blazers added 5 new players to their team this year, they gave LaMarcus Aldridge more minutes, and two players Travis Outlaw and Martell Webster have stepped up and he gets all the credit.
David West? Give me a break. Tyson Chandler I would be fine with but West is not more deserving than any of the guys named above.
The main players I would pick to replace Roy and West would be Baron Davis And Josh Howard or Stephen Jackson. Baron and the Warriors have been killing the NBA I think that the 0-6 startĀ probably has people thinkingĀ Baron isn’t that valuable to Golden State and Stephen Jacksons off the Court issues probably kept him off.
The last thing I can say to NBA players and coaches is to watch out for Baron Davis for the rest of the season.

Chris Paul Triple Crossover On Anthony Carter
January 29, 2008
The move starts at the 45 second mark.
Chris Webber Going Back To Golden State
January 28, 2008
Chris Webber is going back to Golden State to reunite with Don Nelson. He will be paid a pro-rated share of the veteran’s minimum salary, meaning he will make about $570,000 for the rest of the season.
A lot of people, including me are curious to see how this move turns out because the Warriors are a fastbreak team. They run down court and throw up quick threes and midrange jumpers. Webber is very, very slow and his addition could affect the Warriors negatively if they try to change their style to include waiting for Webber to get down and dumping the ball in the post.
I guess it is worth a try though because if he hurts the team they can just bench him.
The Heat End Their 15 Game Losing Streak
January 26, 2008
The Heat was able to end their 15 game losing streak by beating the Indiana Pacers by 2 points at home. D. Wade had 35 points and made a key defensive play at the end of the game which prevented Indiana from getting off a good shot. The players were happy to win a game for the first time since December 22nd but they still have a 9-33 record.
Even though the Heat suck, they are only about 9 games out of the 8th spot in the Eastern conference. They still have a good chance to make the playoffs if they can go on a little winning streak.

Official All-Star Starters
January 25, 2008
The All-Star starters where announced yesterday. The East Starter are:
Dwight Howard
Kevin Garnett
Lebron James
Dwayne Wade
Jason Kidd
The West All-Stars are:
Yao Ming
Tin Duncan
Carmelo Anthony
Kobe Bryant
Allen Iverson
Iverson was able to pass Tracy McGrady at the last minute to earn an All-Star start which was a good move by the fans because T-Mac did not deserve it. Now some people are complaining that Paul or Nash should be starting. I think Iverson is playing some of the best basketball in the league along with Lebron, Paul, Baron, and Howard. Iverson is getting older so people are starting to forget about him but he is still playing like he is 22.
OJ Mayo In Trouble
January 23, 2008
OJ Mayo got free tickets to the LA Lakers vs. Denver game that was played on Monday from Carmelo Anthony, now the NCAA is looking into it.
According to the NCAA, students cannot receive free or reduced cost admission to professional sporting events from professional organizations. Basically if the NCAA considers Anthony to be an representaive of the Nuggets he can be in trouble. If the NCAA considers it a gift from a friend then he will most likely not be in any trouble.
